Adam Lopez
Australian musical marvel Adam Lopez recently released Pop/Latin album ‘Till the End of Time’ through ABC Music and Universal.
After astonishing audiences around the world with his virtuosic eight-octave vocal range and holding the Guinness World Records for the highest note ever sung, Brisbane-born Adam Lopez will this month release his album, Till the End of Time.
Inspired by his Spanish heritage, Adam has returned to his roots with the much-anticipated release of his Latino-influenced album, gospel style backing vocals and dance-floor hits.
“The album brings with it the funk of Earth, Wind & Fire in the extraordinary brass arrangements; rich gospel harmonies in the backing vocals, and the rhythm and blues contemporary feel of Chaka Kahn in a fusion based on my Latino heritage, and my love of virtuosic vocal performance,” said Lopez.
Featuring collaborations with Australian jazz legend James Morrison, the album is a delectable tapas of English and Spanish music.
“You have to hear this guy sing. His far-reaching range is truly extraordinary. To put this in perspective; a singer with three consecutive octaves is considered to have excellent range, and four octaves is phenomenal. Adam Lopez can master eight; he is a tenor, counter-tenor, bass and soprano all rolled into one superbly talented, modern musical marvel.” said renowned Australian composer and co-producer on the album, Sean O’Boyle.
Being recognised internationally for the ability to showcase his amazing eight-octave vocal range has lead Adam to singing Backing Vocals with international performers such as Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and The Corrs.
Till the End of Time marks his debut on the ABC Music label the album is generating extraordinary interest from music-lovers who are eager to hear what is officially one of the most extraordinary vocal instruments on the planet.
