Well I’m off to Spain!!!

That’s right – you heard/read correctly :o)

Will be in Spain from the 30th of August to the 30th of September, then from the 1st of October through to the 6th I’ll be in Korea, then I return back to Australia on the 7th.

So if you happen to be in Spain or Korea during those times let me know so we may catch up and have a cup of coffee :o)

I’ll be going to Spain to work on a ‘side project’ as well as promote my current album “Till the end of time”.

This ‘side project’ is very exciting and it involves Popera Diva “Kimera”!

I’ve been a fan of Kimera since the mid 80’s when she sold 16 million copies of her Popera album which featured the London Symphony Orchestra, spectacular coloratura arias and funky Disco/House remixes!

She inspired me to study opera and to record the Poperatic songs on my previous self-released CD’s.

I met Kimera in January this year when I was in Spain to record an Italian TV show, she loved my Popera songs and BOOM!! A new Popera project was born!

We’re basically re-mastering some of my own Popera arrangements with the Symphonic Orchestra in Madrid! Very exciting! – shall let you know on the progress of this including release dates and/or TV appearances.

Ok so it's been ages since my last newsletter but so much has happened...

First things first though -- My album's release date is 19th of April.

The spicy Latin album features some of Australia's most talented musicians and to top it all off, James Morrison features playing
trumpet on 2 tracks!!

It will currently be available throughout Australia and New Zealand in all major music stores including all ABC shops and then eventually available internationally. It'll also be made available on iTunes
however you won't get the groovy CD Booklet if you get the album digitally.

(Note: it's probably best to buy a hard copy also because it'll clock up the CD sales for the ARIAS)

For those of you who live outside of Australia and New Zealand, you'll be able to order the CD's (once released) through various
Australian music stores but at the moment I only have the following link:

Hellooooooooooooo Whistlers :)

I am back from a TV shoot recorded at FUJI Television Network in Tokyo.

The show is called Best House 1-2-3! and it's a Two Hour Special airing on: Wednesday, January 9, 2008

The shooting date was Saturday, December 8, 2007.

I had heaps of fun doing the shoot and having a bit of a sing with the incredibly talented girl brass band (+ DJ & Violinist) "Pistol Valve".

I also had heaps of fun checking out Tokyo and enjoying the food, people, architecture and culture.

All i can say is that I'm definitly going back to Japan in the future! I loved it.

anywayz - now that i'm back it's back to continuing to finish off the album which is sounding mega hot!

I can't wait to show you the new CD, songs and photos from the new shoot.

Hellooooooo everyone!

Well lots of things have happened since i last wrote to you all - super sorry for my very late notice by the way...

Anywayz, i'm at the late stages of the recording of my new album - at this stage it's a 14 track album and we're trying to have it released in Feb 08 - which is just around the corner!

I'm having heaps of fun recording this album! I can't wait to hear what you think of it.

Closer to the release date there'll be cool competitions etc... so stay tuned.

By the way if you haven't yet signed my guest book or signed up to my emailing list...What are you waiting for!!! haha

um.... i think that's pretty much it... oh and of course there'll be promo tours happening next year so stay tuned also for gig dates.
